Funding Criteria:
Music Farming expands music participation across the U.S. by providing grants to 501(c)3 organizations that meet the following:
The program should be rooted in and tailored to a local community's unique needs and culture, building a lasting foundation for music education.
The program must demonstrate a commitment to equity, radical inclusivity, and a non-discriminatory environment for all in their community, regardless of age, background, identity, or ability.
We prioritize programs that provide music education to strategically undervalued or economically disadvantaged participants, or to communities with little to no access to such programs.
The program should establish measurable goals and outcomes, such as the number of participants, skill improvements, or community engagement metrics, to measure impact and effectiveness.
Must have 501 C-3 status or use a fiscal sponsor that has 501 C-3 status
Music Farming is inspired by organizations that understand the importance of, and have a passion for, bringing the power of music into all lives.
To date, we have proudly distributed $150,000 in funding to 8 organizations nationwide.
