Fall 2023 Funded Programs

Music Farming is excited to announce the grant recipients of our Fall 2023 funding cycle. During this cycle, we disbursed $150,000 in grants to eight organizations supporting music education in communities nationwide.

Funding Criteria:

Music Farming seeks to spread participation in music throughout the US (Norby funding music education programs. We make grants to registered 501(c)3 organizations whose work meets each of the following criteria:

  1. The program should provide music education within a specific community to individuals of any age.

  2. The program should be rooted in a local community, and seek to build a lasting foundation for music education in that community.

  3. We will prioritize programs that provide music education to either low income participants, or to communities with little or no access to music education.

  • Jammin’ in Boulder

  • Free Music Lessons program for public school students in Rhode Island

    Music lessons in the Women's Incarceration Facility in Rhode Island.

    These lessons will provide moments of hope for the two populations in our community that need it most.

  • New York Partner School Program:

    Success will be delivering 35 weeks of high-quality music classes – including ensemble opportunities such as band, chorus, and orchestra – to 50 partner schools, serving 18,000 in-need students.
